She looked up at me with those soulful brown eyes, hopped up onto my lap, and somehow the stories just poured out. I merely served as her editor, polishing here and there, and eventually stepping in as her photographer for the cover shot.

Writing has always been a refuge for me as well. Beyond helping my four-legged friend document her adventures, I'm currently immersed in a more personal project—developing the script and planning process for my first short film. This project explores my journey of surviving abuse when I was 19, transforming a painful chapter of my life into something that might help others navigate their own healing journeys.
