Integrity Promise – Responsible Use of AI
I, Nikola Heslop, as an advocate for responsible AI use, commit to using artificial intelligence in a way that protects human dignity, safety, and consent. I will be joining an official advocacy group to donate my time and energy toward stronger regulations and public protections around AI and data centers, especially where current laws are weak or nonexistent.
I have never given, and will never give, any AI tool or company permission to recreate or regenerate my face, audible voice, or likeness. If a message appears in my name, it was written by me.
I use AI in a limited, practical way: to help me organize information, manage to‑dos, and keep my records and ideas in order so I don’t drop the ball on the humans who trust me. I do not use AI to script my voice, recreate my image, or automate my relationships. Anything you see with my face, my voice, or my name on it is the result of my own direct involvement, not a synthetic copy.
My work is about real humans, real stories, and real accountability. That starts with me.
Privacy, Confidentiality, and Respect for Your Story
Although I am not currently practicing as a licensed clinical therapist and do not bill insurance, I treat your privacy and confidentiality with the same seriousness you would expect in a clinical setting. I do not sell, trade, or share your personal stories or identifying details, and I am intentional about how, where, and with whom I discuss client experiences.
When I share examples in my writing or teaching, they are either drawn from my own life or sufficiently changed, combined, or anonymized so that no individual person can be identified. Any digital tools I use are chosen with privacy in mind, and I continuously educate myself about laws, ethical guidelines, and best practices around data protection and confidentiality.
In plain language: your story is yours. If you choose to share it with me, I will handle it with care, discretion, and respect.
